Third annual face-to-face general assembly

We were once again delighted to meet in person in Rotterdam on 14 September for our 3rd General Assembly. This provided another valuable opportunity to exchange ideas on the project, reflect on the significant progress achieved so far, and continue advancing two key topics currently at the heart of our work:

  • The finalisation of the shared decision-making process, including the development of the training video for investigators;
  • Participant recruitment, with a collective discussion on the current inclusion rate and the actions that could be implemented to further improve enrolment across participating centres.

SECOND ANNUAL FACE-TO-FACE GENERAL ASSEMBLY

The MORPHEUS annual face-to-face General Assembly took place at La Maison de la Bretagne in Paris, with representatives of all the 14 partners.
Once again, it was an opportunity for everyone to exchange ideas in a plenary session and work in workshops on the following topics:

  • Prototype design: test it to improve it
  • Biology and Imaging, how to integrate the results into the tool?
  • MC Morpheus, difficulty in merging cohorts and how overcome challenges
  • Publications, designing a standard title page.

ETHER CLINICAL TRIAL – START OF INCLUSIONS

The ETHER clinical trial got underway in France with the opening of the Brest University Hospital centre, which enrolled its 1st patient on 26 March and has now enrolled 7 patients. The logistics of the study are still being put in place, and the other French centres are due to open for enrolment shortly.
For the other countries, the contracting phase is underway and the 1st study initiation visits visits should take place in the next few weeks.

First annual face-to-face General Assembly

The MORPHEUS first annual face-to-face General Assembly took place at La Maison de la Bretagne in Paris, with representatives of all the 14 partners.
The main objectives were to get an overview of the different work packages in plenary session and to work in small groups on specific topics of each work package, with a general discussion in plenary session

  • Statistical analysis and Methodology
  • Biobanking/Circuit of samples
  • Biology/Identification of the biomarkers for the tool
  • Imaging/Regulatory aspects and imaging data to be collected
  • Tool/What it should do/be and what it should not.

The meeting was also an opportunity to meet each other, discuss and spend some convivial time.
